In 2015, the United Cathedral Foundations of Naumburg, Merseburg and Zeitz commissioned us to support Büro Steiner (Berlin): For the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Merseburg Cathedral in the design of the 600sqm large special exhibition 1000 JAHRE KAISERDOM. In addition, we were also commissioned to develop a key visual to promote the exhibition. The exhibition was on display in the cultural history museum at Merseburg Castle and in Merseburg Cathedral. Challenging are the different spatial and climatic conditions, as well as the spatial distance between the exhibition rooms in the cathedral and Merseburg Castle, as this has a decisive influence on the visitor guidance.
„Thanks to high-ranking loans, some of which have never been shown outside of their storage locations, the visitor is offered an insight into the time when the efforts of the empire were controlled from Merseburg.“
