What is edutainment?

Edutainment describes the successful combination of education and entertainment with the aim of increasing motivation to learn and making learning more successful. Adventure worlds and experience-orientated leisure learning locations such as zoos, animal and nature parks use this approach to sensitise visitors to the protection and conservation of animal species and habitats. One thing is certain for us: education and entertainment belong together! <3

How do we realise this?

We meet the current learning habits of different generations and say goodbye to the good old text board. It's the mix that makes the difference: Varied, interactive and multi-sensory learning stations convey content for young and old - analogue and digital.

No standard solutions

We work on a project-specific basis and create visually independent products that integrate smoothly into existing design structures such as architecture, planting, signage systems or design specifications while remaining independent and eye-catching.

We know: Every person explores the world in an individual way. We pay attention to the principles of universal design and work towards solutions that do not exclude anyone due to a limitation. We take the current accessibility standards into account when presenting information.

How we work together

We prefer to base the project process on the currently published version of the fee schedule for exhibition designers (HOAS). This offers a transparent, standardised project process and covers all tasks and responsibilities for both sides. This means that we can easily agree on any form of collaboration. An additional advantage is that we can integrate our services into any overarching construction project by jointly defining interfaces and aligning our processes accordingly.

Design concept

Firstly, we define learning objectives and key messages together. We get to know you and the spatial situation on site. We summarise these findings and sketch interactive elements based on them. So that we know what the finished product could look like, we develop the look and feel of the basic design idea.

Design planning

We distribute all content and corresponding communication principles to stations and work them out. The design concept is worked through in relation to the objects. Layout specifications provide us with the scope and space required to create content.

Realisation planning

We create plans so that the stations can be produced precisely and clarify the work planning with the producers. In the meantime, you create content and we support you, whether we advise, assist or create the content for you.

Realisation

The plans become reality! We keep all the strings in our hands and ensure that the budget and schedule are adhered to. We carry out delivery and installation on site. Comprehensive handover, commissioning and technical documentation ensure worry-free use of the stations.
