The Heinrich Schütz House in Weißenfels is a place of remembrance and a cultural and music history center dedicated to the composer. As part of the Women's Year 2024, the focus is on female musicians and other artists from Schütz's time as well as contemporary interpreters of early music.

Making women artists visible

Task and approach

One project is the traveling exhibition “The Muses are Female: Early Modern Women in Music, Literature and the Visual Arts”. The museum chose us for this project following a call for tenders. We developed an eye-catching exhibition design including a key visual and implemented the necessary exhibition elements for the museum.

Robust and flexible

Realization

As the exhibition will continue to travel, we combine durability with lightness and ease of assembly and dismantling. We design room banners, information panels and a mobile screen for visitor interaction, which is modeled on a winged altar.
