Leipzig has been participating in the international certification system "European Energy Award" (EEA) since 2009. The annual implementation report in a handy brochure format provides information on the progress of this complex municipal climate protection project. It is a central element of citizen communication and is therefore designed to be inviting, clear and understandable: Instead of complicated technical terms and long texts, we opted for playful, bright covers, clear structure, airy layout, short texts without numbers, infographics and illustrations.

To support clarity, we work with color coding of different topics in our editorial design. This allows citizens to quickly find the information that is relevant to them.
